Since the late 20th century we have been providing the Palm Harbor area with the finest in veterinary services. For over 35 years TLC has offered state-of-the-art in-house medical diagnostics, preventive health care, surgery, and radiology. Our highest priority is to preserve the human-animal bond by utilizing the highest standards of care in small animal medicine and staying abreast of the most recent advancements in our field. Through client education and preventive care we hope to prolong the health and well-being of your beloved family members.
With over 40 years of experience in the veterinary field, Doctor Lynch possesses a wide range of knowledge, skill, and an extensive background in internal medicine, dentistry, radiology, and surgery to better serve and help the patients of TLC Animal Hospital.
As a native of Kentucky, Doctor Lynch received his bachelor’s degree in animal nutrition and animal sciences from the University of Kentucky and was in the honor society of agricultural science of the Gamma Sigma Delta brotherhood. He then went on to study at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated the year of 1983 and is a member of the AVMA.
After graduation Doctor Lynch first practiced at an all-animal clinic in Illinois where he treated not only dogs and cats, but also farm animals such as pigs, goats, and horses… Oh My!
Doctor Lynch established TLC in February of 1987 and has now been open for more than 35 years! He enjoys educating and helping clients, along with spending one on one time with our patients. Doctor Lynch’s professional interests include internal medicine and surgery.
In his spare time, Doctor Lynch enjoys fishing, boating, and watching Tampa Bay sports teams such as the Rays and Bucs at home with his wife and his house full of fluffs including Newt, Ella, and Ledi Pearl. You may see all three of them from time to time roaming around TLC. Doctor Lynch looks forward to helping prolong the health and well-being of your pets! Legend has it he was even born with a mustache.
Dr. Ed Haeussner has been practicing veterinary medicine in the Tampa Bay area for over 25 years. With his experience in small animal medicine, surgery and dentistry, he is devoted to bringing high quality care with a personal touch to his clients and patients. He looks forward to meeting you and your furry family members. A native Floridian, Dr. Haeussner was born and spent his early childhood in Pinellas County before moving with his family to rural north central Florida. Excelling at school and growing up with a variety of pets, led to an interest in furthering his knowledge of the science and medicine of animals. Dr. Haeussner attended the University of Florida (GO GATORS!) where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Zoology and then a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree with High Honors. After obtaining his DVM degree, Dr. Haeussner completed an internship at Florida Veterinary Specialists in Tampa before entering general practice. Dr. Haeussner's wife, Margo, is also a native Floridian. They reside in Palm Harbor with their two wonderful daughters and their pets: Rosie, Ella, Jitterbugs, JoJo, and Gilbert. In his limited free time, Dr. Haeussner enjoys exercising at the gym, being outdoors, watching sports, researching ancestry, reading or just finding moments to relax and spend time with his family.
Dr. Chance Rohter received his Bachelor's in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of South Florida, working as a chemist for several years before realizing his true calling was animal health care. Dr. Rohter graduated from the Long Island University 2024 inaugural class of Veterinary Medicine. Inspired by his cat Atlas, he has a special interest in feline medicine along with an interest in holistic medicine. He has lived here in Palm Harbor the majority of his life and is excited to begin his veterinary career back in his hometown. Dr. Rohter has numerous hobbies including body building for several years, and going to the gym almost every single day. When time permits, he enjoys building things such as movie prop replicas and costumes, particularly from the Star Wars franchise, which he can talk to you for hours about! Other things he likes to do include playing video games, pinball, and golf. Dr. Rohter is excited to start his veterinary career and build relationships with the patients and clients of TLC!
Aiyana is a native to Florida, born in Gainesville and raised right here in Pinellas County. Aiyana has been an animal lover her entire life and growing up with at least 5 animals in the household at once, it is no wonder her heart belongs in the veterinary field. At the age of 16, she began volunteering at TLC Animal Hospital in the kennel and has learned a lot along the way in animal health and wellness, along with reception and veterinary business management skills. Aiyana wants to continue to grow with TLC and will continue to make it a safe and happy space for both people and animals. Aiyana's most recent degree is a bachelors in business management and finance with a minor in accounting. Aiyana’s favorite part of working at TLC is building relationships with our clients and their beloved fur babies along with helping within our community! In her free time Aiyana enjoys trips to the beach, is a huge Lightning hockey fan and loves spending quality time with her family, two cats Nala and Gram and her two black greyhounds Milo and Quincey.
Meghan was born and raised in the beautiful sunshine state of Florida. Since a young age she has always been around animals including dogs, cats, and reptiles. Meghan attended Tarpon Springs High School where she received her veterinary assistant certification. Her favorite part of working at TLC is spending one-on-one time with patients, she enjoys coming to work everyday and learning something new! In her free time Meghan enjoys going to the beach and playing video games.
Heidi is a transplant among the TLC Floridian team. She originally grew up in New York, later on she decided to move down to the sweet sunshine state. Heidi has been a Vet Tech for over 25 years and enjoys every single minute of it. Her favorite part of being a Vet Tech is working with the animals and learning something new everyday. In her free time Heidi enjoys running, photography and taking care of her special needs group of animals at home including chickens, a rat and dogs!
Emily was born in Florida. Since a young age, she has always loved being around animals including her own pets. She has three German Shepherds, Dixie, Duke, and Daisy, her kitty Tigger and a plethora of chickens! Emily attended Tarpon Springs High School where she received her veterinary assistant certification. Her favorite part of working at TLC is spending time with the Camp TLC attendees and helping attend to patients. She enjoys working hard and learning something new to help expand her knowledge. In her free time, Emily enjoys going to the park, traveling, and playing video games.
Amanda is also a transplant among the Florida TLC team. She grew up in Wisconsin and recently moved down to Florida. Amanda has been working with not only dogs and cats but also farm animals her whole life. She has a deep love for every animal she encounters and wants to continue providing every pet she meets with quality care and extra TLC. In her free time Amanda enjoys spending time with her pets and trips to the beach!
